I am a sucker for old diamond rings that have clearly been loved. This is one of my favorites. I’d estimate it to be from the 1950’s. It consists of three rings soldered together. The center engagement style ring has a transitional style center diamond. I’d estimate it at about 1/3 carat. Two rows of diamonds flank the center. On either side is a diamond wedding band. One is a bit wider than the other. All three rings have either white gold or platinum mounting. The diamonds are nice quality, sparkly white, with no visible inclusions. The ring weighs 4.0 grams. It’s thin from wear, but still has lots of life left in it. The soldering stabilizes the ring where the band is thin. I’d be comfortable wearing it daily. Because if the low profile it’s very comfortable to wear.
