The stone is EGL certed (cert number US 905772701D), 1.58ct K VS2 and measures 7.49 x 7.32 x 4.66 mm. I have never been able to find the inclusions myself, even with a loupe. I'd estimate it to be H-I color, with I-1 to I-2 clarity, which is reflected in the price. The table area of the stone is pretty clean, black pepper-like inclusion go around near the girdle. Hand carved 18K Ginkgo leaf, with 1.3 ctw fancy brown diamond. Sprinkled throughout the ginkgo leaves are tiny white melee diamonds. This ring was custom made for me by Seven Fingers (http://www.sevenfingers.com/), it has hardly been worn. If you look at his "About" link you will see this ring in process. For sale is a beautiful 1.55 carat GIA L VS1 chunky monkey oec in a brand new platinum custom setting by Caysie Von Bebber Inspired Designs and Love Affair Diamonds. This setting has calibre cut natural purple yogo sapphires in the halo. These sapphires were hand picked to match before they were cut. This setting took almost 3 months to make due to the delicate work involved in selecting, cutting, and setting these sapphires. The details and milgrain are impeccable. The ring is size 6.5 and completely sizable. I love this ring, but I have fallen for another gem in the meantime and cannot have both. This is a stunner. This heavy (10g!) platinum setting is smooth as butter and has the most beautiful detail on it. The milgrain is hard to see without a macro lens, it's so fine. The center stone is a .47 I colored VS transitional diamond, and sparkles like crazy. It's a wonderful performer, and because of the way it's set down *just* below that milgrain, the surrounding metal acts like a mirror spraying rainbows everywhere. There are 8 additional diamonds on the ring. You'll see them at the four corners of the square head, and one on each side of the head as well. It is a size 7.75, and is slightly out of round. The shank is quite heavy-3mm or so at the narrowest point. It could certainly be resized, or rounded out. I am asking $1400.00, which includes shipping and insurance in the US. I do have papers on it from the antique shop, which will be sent as well. This makes a fabulous right hand ring OR engagement ring. The details make it extremely unique and lovely.
