Features a 3.60ct unheated cornflower blue cushion sapphire and GIA certified natural (genuine antique) old mine cut diamonds (.54 and .52 each G/VS2) purchased from August Vintage. Such a breathtaking statement piece! Sapphire ring was appraised at $29,500 in 2021. This ring has incredible finger coverage and absolutely glows!”

There is a thing about Sapphires, where they appear lighter as you move towards the equator and darker as you move towards more distant latitudes. As a result, many people buy Sapphires in Bangkok only to find that they are too dark when they get home. I suspect something like this is happening with this sapphire as the original listing photos and CVB’s photos show a deeper color than the ones that I took.

Please note that the ring is in a brushed finish and the original CVB photo on Instagram was taken before that finish was applied.
