Oval amethyst is approx. 18 x 12.5 mm, surrounded by rich buttery gold. 8.2 grams.

The gold work on this ring is beautiful. A rope design surrounds the stone and wraps down each side. The basket is an intricate vine/scroll design. Shows expected signs of wear for its age.

Size 9 on my mandrel but I think it fits a bit larger. Sizable.
