This next one is a bit unusual for me. My husband admired it greatly on our honeymoon, so I bought it for him for our first anniversary ... which took place shortly after he'd just gotten a new job that required a lot of travel.
I'd forgotten the TSA safety regulations.
So, alas, the knife has sat alone and unloved for almost 7 years, and frankly, I'd like to buy him something twice as nice for the next anniversary: if there's a collector out there who'd love to have this lovely thing for their own special occasion, all the better!
This knife isn't madly out of place among my listings: it's as beautiful as any piece of jewelry I've ever enjoyed, if somewhat more handy. It was made by award-winning knife artist Paul Presto of Lone Wolf designs. The blade is forged from Hakkapella style Damascus steel, and the handle is made of genuine blacklip mother of pearl. It was made in a limited edition of 150 pieces, and is now discontinued. It comes with all of its original packaging, and is in mint condition. I'm actually selling it for exactly what I bought it for, years ago ... no profit, just hopefully making a nice exchange with the universe!
