Description

This was in a box of jewelry that belonged to my friend's mother. I took the strand to two known pearl vendors at InterGem who pronounced them as very nice classic Japanese cultured saltwater akoyas. I was told that a fair wholesale price would be $400. They have a champagne (ivory?) overtone. The clasp is marked 14K. I measured a few at random and they were approx 6mm. They are beautiful and I would buy them if I didn't already own several strands. The only negative I can see is the old knotting apparent in the enlarged pictures (They are by all means wearable but I would restring as I do knotting so those things bug me).
