Description

An unheated 3.05 ct. ruby.

It comes with a full format lab report, and additionally a smaller brief type report from a second laboratory.

COLOUR: Pure red. The images may show a bit of orange on some monitors but the actual stone is vividly red with no secondary hues. Red-red.

CLARITY: The stone is exceptionally clean for a ruby - it doesn't have any visible feathers or crystals anywhere at all, in any direction or orientation. It does however have some silk, which can make it look a bit sleepy indoors.
Outdoors and in bright light, it shines velvety red.

CUTTING: Round mixed cut. Very high crown and imperfect cutting so a recut may be necessary. The cut is definitely not a forte here, as shown in the images. It would look a lot better than it does right now if it was treated to a recut.
