***ADDITIONAL INFO***
Mahenge spinels have a well-deserved reputation for blowing every other source except Namya out of the water.
This stone is no exception; it's ultra-bright and it nearly glows. Regardless of which light it's seen in, it's still glowy pink - even in low light environments.
This glow is extremely difficult to capture on camera though; and the actual color is an ever so slightly orangy medium toned pink. Slightly more orangy than the 1st and 3rd photos but also more fluorescent than the photos show. The second photo is about there color-wise, but it's more brilliant than that.
It has a tiny crystal under the table which can be seen if it's examined very close up and if the light hits it from the side. It's eye clean in 9 out of 10 viewing environments but that 1 out of 10 is factored into the price.
Spread is great - the first impression is always that it's over 2 carats. This is because of the Portuguese cut pavilion which allows a shallower angle and a flatter profile while giving more coverage and less of a window than most other cuts.
***SHIPPING***
Tracked and insured shipping is included.
***RETURNS***
Returns are totally okay but please note that they come minus the insured shipping costs paid to send you the stones. A government-issued invoice signed and stamped by Customs, government valuer-gemmologists and postal agents for stones + shipping comes within every parcel with the exact breakdown of shipping and insurance costs paid on export. Most of the time these amount to $55-60 for sub $1k value stones.
