The light return on this stone is excellent; it lights up effortlessly and sparkles way more than it would were it cut into a more standard cut. It could have been made into a conventional cushion of around 2.50 carats but it was cut into a barion octagonal cushion instead to give it the best visual impact and add to its rarity.

Color-wise it's mint green; it looks bluish mint green in some lights (overcast days, indoors or fluorescent light, for example) or yellowish mint green if viewed in direct sunlight. It's a very delicate, pleasant and popular color.
