1.40 ct. HOT pink tourmaline from the famed Tourmaline Queen Mine in Pala, California. Flawless stones from the Queen is extremely hard to find. Rough was from an old miner who'd held onto it for years. The mine hasn't been active since the 1970's. High crown, brilliant pavilion by Jeff Hapeman. Dispersive showing flashes of red, purple and bright pink.
