This translucent stone is a natural and untreated Pink Star Sapphire from Mogok Burma. This gem is measures 10.9 x 8.5 x 3.5 mm and is weighing 3.41 carat. This pink star Sapphire has a sharp floating natural six ray star in a translucent base with classic Mogok coloration. The star is complete with six long rays and it is nicely orientated to the center of the gem. This star is medium high in brightness and is medium high in sharpness as well. With a hardness of 9 on Moh’s scale, Corundum is suitable for most any type of jewelry plus being a cabochon ensures it will wear well even in everyday rings. Sapphire is the birthstone of September.
