This sapphire is a beautiful pastel blue color with a hint of violet. A jeweler who is knowledgeable in colored stones that was consulted said that he thought of Sri Lanka when he saw it, and that it is likely heated, but unknown, resulting in the low asking price. Beautiful flowery pattern reminiscent of Portuguese cut patterns.
