Details ...
I purchased this stone from an associate Sri Lankan dealer a couple years back. You can find the stone listed on his archived YT Page here:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChI4SucsjlvEUIbLMvvnbkw/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=0
Scroll down a bit, shown as # 044
It was intended to be used in an engagement ring, but I later decided to buy the rough material instead and cut the center stone myself... which I did.
I kept this stone for a couple of years hoping to find another one just like it. I wanted to use them for matching earrings but finding a perfectly matched stone became more difficult than I had anticipated. This vivid royal is very hard to find in this size and even harder to find in a square cushion.
Offering this hard to find color and shape at well below market value, so don't miss it ... it's a beauty.

I have a gorgeous AGL certified 1.97ct unheated Montana Sapphire. It is a beautiful pale blue/gray color and it sparkles and shimmers so brilliantly.
I bought it from Dana at Mastercutgems who had it listed as very slightly included. When held at certain angles you can see slight silk inclusions, but they in no way affect the brilliance of this Sapphire.
I tried to capture this Sapphire in the most natural lighting to best represent it color.
I originally bought this Sapphire to set in a ring, but have decided to go in a different direction.
I am a private seller, so no refunds or returns.

New inventory from old stock. The best < $10K ruby I have seen in a long time. Mozambique origin, but with strong fluorescence (rare in Mozambique ruby but typical for the best pieces from the original find). There is a slight chance it may actually be from Madagascar and not Mozambique. Not from Burma in all likelihood.
True blood red, actual vivid saturation, very lively (not darkish!) thanks to the powerful fluorescence. Something you otherwise only see in the very best Burmese ruby. Perfectly eye clean.
1.12 ct, 6.44 x 5.99 x 3.33 mm
Unedited daylight pictures. Ordering “for approval” possible and encouraged.
Video in shaded daylight: https://youtu.be/_LVJYPDJXYc
Video in very low and indirect (rainy) daylight: https://youtu.be/rPY_BZJJwQI
Video in early evening sunlight through window: https://youtu.be/ecgxY3Y4Mgw
Any flaws? It’s close to perfect as a ruby, overall. But: cut slightly shallow (spready, to put it positively), one small and not deep “natural” in pavilion (irrelevant, just want to disclose it upfront), slight windowing (matters when you put it in tweezers and backlight it, red glow “closes” the window in most situations).
Comes with a GIA report without origin, dating from 2010! (yes, this is really old stock that I dug up from a long-forgotten treasure chest…), confirming “no indications of heating”. Secondary report of the buyer’s choice with origin (AGL, Gübelin) included in price. Sale can be made conditional on the second report. In any case, the ruby is money-back-guaranteed unheated.
As usual, free Fedex shipping anywhere, safe payment through regular (not F&F) Paypal, 7 day no-questions-asked return policy (no hassle, no restocking fee).
Payment plan possible, too.

4 different coloured bright Orange Spessartite Garnets cut from top coloured African material all range from lightly included to included with sugar type inclusions which is pretty normal for spess.
Stone 1 - 1.90 carat pear, this one is heavily included with a rutile inclusion across it and lots of sugar including lines and scattered sugar. Normally I don't purchase heavily included stones but the colour of this pear is Fanta orange it's about as bright and perfect as you see in a spess and the top vivid colour negates the inclusions. The inclusions are eye visible but when set the colour is again going to be the main thing you see on the hand. It's still a very pretty stone and great size for the price. $95.00USD.
Stone 2 - 1.93 Pretty mid to light orange cushion. Some rutile bands and some scattered sugar inclusions will look fairly clean on the hand when set. This one photographs yellowish in some pics but it's not it's a nice bright mid to light orange in real life. Similar stones sell for 3 times what I am asking for this one, really great stone for the price $250.00USD.
Stone 3 - 1.22 heart/trillion (darker of the two) this one is photographing way darker and browner than it really is, it is more per carat because again it is what Africans consider close to ideal in colour, it's a nice intense vivid orange with no brown at all in real life. It has rutile inclusions across it and scattered sugar inclusions but will look mostly cleanish when set. Could be set as a trillion or a heart shape by a skilled jeweller. I can't stress how much nicer it is in person than my pics. $250.00USD.
Stone 4 - 1.00 Trillion/Heart a lovely bright vivid mid orange, sought after colour. This stone has rutile inclusions across it and scattered sugar inclusions. You can see them in strong sunlight and certain indoor strong lighting but again set on the hand mostly you will just see the nice bright vivid colour. Could be set as a trillion or a heart by a skilled jeweller. $200.00USD.
Photos 1 - 3 were taken indoors next to a window during the day (daylight).
Photo 4 Was taken inside fluorescent lighting.
Photo 5 was taken outside in sunlight.
Registered trackable shipping to the US is $25.00USD.

3 different coloured bright Orange Spessartite Garnets cut from top coloured African material all lightly included with sugar type inclusions which is pretty normal for spess.
Stone 1; (darkest cushion) 2.61 carats a dark intense vivid orange, never brown much nicer than my photos what Africans consider top coloured. Very light sugar inclusions but clean in most lighting situations will face up clean when set. Will look outstanding in a piece of jewellery. This colour sells for 2 to 3 times the price I'm asking $650.00USD
Stone 2 (Large squarish cushion) 3.41 SOLD carats nice bright mid orange also a sought after colour. Has a line of white sugar type inclusions going across the inside of the stone, also has scattered sugar type inclusions which is very common even with top spess. Eye clean at a distance but included in bright sunlight and strong lighting under very close inspection. I think set it will look fairly clean and will be a great large bluff stone for the price. Now SOLD.
Stone 3 - 2.27 carats (mid coloured Antique cushion) also a nice sought after mid orange colour. Has light scattered inclusions which is common with spess, you might notice it in strong sunlight or in strong shop lighting but will be clean on the hand when set. $450.00USD again these sell for 2 to 3 times this price.
Photos 1 -3 were taken inside my house next to a window during the day.
Photo 4 is inside under fluorescent overhead bar lighting.
Photo 5 was taken outside in sunlight.
My Iphone camera hates orange none of the stones are brown and they are much nicer oranges in person than my photos.
Registered trackable signed for International shipping to the US is $25USD.

This is a lovely vintage ring with a beautiful, natural sapphire cabochon. Probably made in Switzerland, about 20-40 years ago. 18K white gold, tested as such and stamped accordingly (“750”).
The sapphire cabochon is a pretty denim blue, a darker, moody shade, but certainly not blackish, as sometimes seen in vintage sapphire. It is very clean for a cabochon, perfectly transparent, with only a little bit of color zoning. The stone is free of chips/abrasions or any other damage.
The sapphires measures approximately 7.60 x 5.20 x 3.40 mm (measured in setting) and weighs an estimated 1.45 ct (calculated by formula).
Very well crafted ring, good weight (3.55 gram overall), very smooth and luxurious to the touch.
You can watch a video of this ring here: https://youtu.be/QzcUrLBYECE
Excellent vintage condition. Currently an approximate size 6 1/2 (US), I am happy to laser size this ring for you to your size free of charge.
As usual, the price includes shipping anywhere (Fedex 2nd day within the US, USPS priority for international shipping). Safe payment through regular PayPal (no friends/family), 7 day no-questions-asked return policy.

Nice lighter color and sparkle on this little pear. One large feather/inclusion at or near the surface of the tip, but it could easily be hidden with a prong or bezel setting.

A matching pair of pear-shaped Welo opals. Very beautiful play of color, green, red, some blue. 2.77 ct total. They have been kept in a box, no cracks, no crazing, stable. Not seen in photos, but very well-matched. Selling due to sheer inability to keep up with many projects. They would make a wonderful pair of earrings, especially if coupled with green garnets. Willing to ship inside the US Price reflects the fact that they match for earrings. Ready to take more photos. Emai me at travelby737@gmail.com

True Vivid Blue / Royal Blue Sapphire, Unheated, Cushion, 2.67 ct, Almost Loupe Clean, Very Well Cut
I know royal blues are not everyone’s cup of tea, also because only too often blackish pebbles are incorrectly labeled “royal blue”, although they are of course not. A sapphire that deserves to be called “royal blue” must be of vivid saturation, pretty much by definition.
This is a sapphire that is quite dark in tone, but of vivid saturation at the same time. Very much the real deal, in my opinion.
What makes this sapphire special is that it is also practically free of inclusions, some would call it loupe clean. Perfectly even color distribution, no zoning (if something looks uneven, it is my photography, not the stone, I promise). All pictures taken in natural daylight (from window), no artificial light used, for a natural look. This sapphire is more flashy in strong light.
I have a full Etsy listing for this sapphire here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/710272200/267-ct-royal-blue-unheated-sapphire-c
And there is a video here (soft indirect daylight): https://youtu.be/_O2L47wn7EA
Comes with a lab report by C. Dunaigre, stating: unheated/untreated, Ceylon, and “vivid blue” + “royal blue”. If interested, please email to receive the lab report.
Christian Dunaigre is a renowned Swiss gemologist, formerly chief gemologist at Gübelin, now operating his own lab. He uses state of the art technology, his reports are considered very reliable, and his color descriptions are conservative. However, I would be happy to supply an additional lab report, for instance by AGL, free of charge upon purchase.
As usual, 7 day no-questions-asked return policy, free Fedex shipping anywhere.

From my personal collection. A rare combination of intensely saturated and well balanced color, almost loupe clean clarity, and precision cutting into a razor sharp emerald cut, make this gem, in my opinion, a museum-worthy collector’s piece.
Please watch two videos (hand and tweezers) here:
https://youtu.be/uX3cfXr9yws
and here:
https://youtu.be/5Lj6EhJ5fcQ
Weight: 1.05 ct
Dimensions: 6.85 x 5.16 x 3.18
Cut: Emerald cut (precision cut)
Clarity: 100% eye clean to almost loupe clean
Color: Pink-orange of intense saturation
Treatment: none (unheated/untreated)
Report: AGL gem brief
I have once acquired this stone as Ceylonese, and strongly assume it is, but since I do not have an origin report, I am offering it as Ceylon *or* Madagascar, to be on the safe side. If origin matters for you, please get in touch to discuss options for re-certification.
Payment plan possible. Generous package discount available if you order it with one of my hand forged ring or pendant settings, or with a pair of side diamonds (small cadis, or half moons, or trapezoids,…).
As usual, 7 days return period (I encourage orders for in-home viewing for this special gem), free shipping anywhere, safe payment through regular (not F&F) Paypal.
