A classic white Australian opal with all the colors, red through violet, with a lot of red, green and violet. Solid opal, no matrix or doublet, even has great color play on the back (see last photo). Very mild crazing is visible in the pics, however it's not visible to the eye unless you look really hard. Piece is solid and 3mm thick. I love the color of this Chrysoberyl - it has a more buttery glow than many of the type. Great size too, at 9.2 x 6.9mm, will fit a 9x7 calibrated setting! 2.54 cts, $195. This stunning stone was cut by In Oro Gems on Etsy. It's actually the center stone in his website banner! An amazing stone that deserves to be set in a show-stopping necklace. (Apatite is softer so better to set in necklaces than rings) This Paraiba-color Apatite hails from Madagascar. It is cut in a "Fiordaliso" precision cut.
