***It’s way better than the photos or video. The harsh lighting and high magnification I was using made the microscopic silk more visible than it really is. It’s a super glowy little gem and does amazingly well in low lighting. I guarantee it is 100% eye-clean
About the center stone:
- 0.89ct Vivid Cotton Candy Pink Mahenge Spinel from GranGem (6.00x4.88x3.63). I paid $1177 for this stone back in 2020.
I also included a photo of the original listing from GranGem.
“purchased the rough that this Mahenge spinel was cut from in 2007. This is not the typical color the region is known for, it is a cotton candy pink color with a very strong saturation. the clarity on this is beyond loupe clean and is cut into a precision cushion that measures 6x5mm.”
*I disagree with the statement that it is beyond loupe clean. It is 100% eye-clean but has just enough silk under a loupe to enhance the glow.
