This stone can display some half and half extinction at times. That hasn't stopped me from loving it, and blue spinels of this size are getting harder and harder to find. And for it to be precision cut too, even harder to find! I had a very hard time coming to the decision to part with this stone, but I have too many larger blue spinels and I can't figure out how to set them all.
