Lovely octagonal bangle bracelet in sterling silver, traced with fanciful engravings.This is a nice, weighty piece, with definite presence. The opening is approximately 2" and 1/4 by 2" and 1/2: the clasp is secure, and the safety chain provides additional piece of mind. I would date this piece to the Victorian revival of the 1950s. The bracelet has a delicate patina, as befits its age: I leave it to its new owner to decide whether to polish it or preserve it!
