I couldn't resist snapping this lovely little Van Craeynest band up as a hedge against my fingers swelling ... but as I already have one in my current size and am trying to fund an upgrade, this may just qualify as "hoarding." So, here it is being offered up to all y'all for what I paid!

This gorgeous vintage band has been well-loved: its milgrain and columnar finial detailing are still sharp, but the dogwood blossoms are more abstracted than in their younger days. The floral outline is gorgeously distinct still, and at normal eye-distance, all you see is the gorgeous pattern. However, if you would like to have it refreshed, Van Craeynest can re-chase the pattern to make it good-as-new: I believe a number of PriceScope members have had this done with their heirloom pieces. Die-stamped, the ring has a great heft, and it's just the right width for stacking (and, btw, the sapphire french-cut band pictured with it is available for sale in another listing).
