Description

Per the appraisal, this setting has 130 full cut accent diamonds. The center stone would be surrounded by 18 micro pave set diamonds with 22 around the edge of the frame. The frame measures 10.14 x 9.67 mm and is supported on 4 prongs, each with 3 diamonds. The shank has 78 diamonds with 10 on the top on each side and 29 front and back. The shank measures 1.91mm wide at the bottom and 2.31mm wide at the top.

I found the original receipt which states the setting has 1.92ctw of F/VS2 pave.

This held a cushion-shaped sapphire that is 7.3 x 5.7mm with a depth of 3.4mm. I believe it could hold a stone with a slightly larger dimension. The ring is a 3.75-4. I checked with Quest Jewelers, the maker of this ring, and it can be sized up to a 7 for $175. Please note the sapphire pictured here is not included (though if you want to buy it, I'm happy to sell it!) and is not set in the mounting in this picture. The sapphire was removed with the intention of reusing the setting so the prongs should be in good shape.
