Wow, this is a unusual Spinel! It has the color of Aquamarine in all lights. One could mistake it for other stones species too, Tourmaline, Topaz, come to mind, but Spinel is a better ring stone than all three stone species mentioned.
The stone has a great polish & looks wet. Very nice brilliance & sparkle. The stone faces up like a 3 ct plus stone. There is the tinest nick in the girdle by one of the corners of the stone. Don't let this bother you, you can't see it with the naked eye. This would look great in a ring. One rare stone!
