This is an authentic (with authentication card) pink satin Chanel evening bag circa 1986. It was the early days of Karl Lagerfeld’s tenure with Chanel.

The bag, like all vintage Chanel features the 24k gold plating on the hardware, which the house discontinued in modern designs.

The bag is well loved, there is some discoloration and it doesn’t hold its shape anymore, but it’s a classic and fabulous bag that could easily be refurbished. Both my daughters wore it to their prom and I was hoping it would be a family heirloom, but we’ve had some medical bills and sadly must let it go.
