Description

This ring is gorgeous! The center stone is a 0.40ct old European cut (OEC) diamond. I'm not sure of the color or clarity, but the diamond is eye-clean and has no carbon spots or feathers that I can see, even under my 10x loupe. (Although it is a bit dirty in the photos, sorry about that!) It measures just under 5mm, and is slightly off-round in shape. I'm not sure about the color, as it's hard to guess with old cut stones while they're set, but it looks possibly J/K/L.

The setting is made of 14kt yellow gold, while the prongs are made of yellow gold on the outside, and white gold on the inner-side (shown in the 2nd pic.) The ring is a size 6.5, and weighs 1.9 grams. There is a part on the bottom of the band where it looks like it was resized at one point. A few of the prongs look like they might need to be re-tipped.
