Beautiful and unusual light green Afghan tourmaline that’s nice and big, it definitely hits my sweet spot of 8mm but alas, I don’t think I have the funds to set it right now and I’m determined to thin out my collection! It would be great as a ring or pendant, and deserves to go to a good home.

Purchased from Michael at Gemline/Litnon, it has beautiful Portuguese cutting, no window.

A note about photos: I try to capture photos to show the gems in a variety of realistic lighting, including in harsh incandescent (office) lighting, so potential buyers can have a realistic idea of the stone's appearance. Please note though that my photos are taken with a camera phone, and the stones are without exception MUCH, MUCH, nicer in person than the photos can show.
