Suspended from a 14k dainty yellow gold chain this Circa 1930s -1940s diamond crescent moon shines and sparkles with approximately 0.42-0.45 carats of bright white diamonds. While there are some inclusions seen under the jewelers loupe the diamonds are completely clean and beautiful to the naked eye. The back of the moon is yellow gold and the top is in white. The diamonds appear larger due to their illusion settings where a very small border of faceted white gold encircles each diamond. The crescent measures 30 mm or 1.18 inches long. The chain by itself is 17 inches if you include the pendant drop it is approximately 18.25 inches all together. Please note the pendant is affixed to the chain - it is not removable.This is a lovely vintage treasure to gift or receive and will arrive in the box pictured for presentation.
