The princess and pie shaped diamonds are specially cut to fit tightly together to have the appearance of a much larger single 1 carat marquise diamond. From a short distance away, 6-12 inches, it looks like one large diamond to the eye. The diamonds are invisible set in the center with four large claw prongs on the perimeter. This is a high quality fine jewelry item in both the quality of gold and diamonds. While unmarked, the pendant has been tested as 18k yellow gold. Estimated total diamond weight is .85 ctw. The diamonds are bright white, sparkling and clean of inclusions even under 10x magnification with a jewelers loupe making them SI1 or better quality, color is estimated to be G/H or better.
