Vintage, Estate 14k Matte Yellow Gold Genuine Ruby ring featuring a center cabochon ruby of a beautiful intense deep burgundy color. Treatments if any, are unknown but must be assumed - the majority of rubies have some kind of treatment as standard practice. The stone is opaque and has natural inclusions as a testament that it is indeed from the earth. Under magnification the central stone shows age marks consistent with light normal wear, none of which are distracting to the eye. The cabochon Ruby measures 7x5mm and is approximately 1 carat. A beautiful heirloom ring sure to become a favorite. The ring weighs 5.6 grams of 14k matte yellow gold and is marked on the interior of the band. The ring is currently sized 6 due to the domed shape the size would accommodate a larger finger size of 6.25 or more, sizable by your jeweler.
