I instantly loved this stone when I seen it. The color is almost indescribable. I want to call it lavender, but lavender is a light purple with more gray. There is too much blue in it to be purple. I want to call it violet, but there is quite a bit of red (pink) in it flashing. It is somewhere in between those two colors in a bright medium tone. It also holds its color well in the light I have seen it in but in some can be even more intense showing hardly any gray at all.

Eye clean with lots of dispersion & sparkle from a good cut. This is a nice gem that will fit in a 9 mm x 7 mm mount.
