Wow! These transitional/antique stones really do have great personality. Up for sale is a super fiery, bright white (F/G color), VS1 1/2 ct, 5.2mm transitional cut diamond set in an intricate antique setting featuring an engraved bird on each shoulder. The inside of the band is stamped 20K along with the artist's mark and an inscription that reads "LOVEBIRD."

This is an unplated high karat white gold setting, so it doesn't quite have that super bright sheen that modern rhodium plated jewelry has. It is unmistakably antique, but has been refurbished. Because the stone is so well cut, it has plenty of presence on the hand and looks larger than half a carat. This comfortable ring would make a beautiful economical engagement ring or a fashionable right hand ring.
