For sale is a lovely pair of copper-bearing cabochon tourmalines from Mozambique. I bought them a long time ago from a PSer and intended to make earrings, but have not gotten around to it. One stone is 2.65cts and the other is 2.56cts, 8.96 x 7.62 x 4.65mm and 9 x 7.62 x 4.6mm, respectively. I have an AGL Prestige cert indicating "Paraiba-type" from Mozambique, with "faint, oil-type clarity enhancement, and low-temperature heating process." At this point, I would only consider selling to PSers.
These stones have a glowy appearance and attractive color. The stones are by no means free of inclusions, but the inclusions do not detract from the color and glow. One stone has a small black pinpoint inclusion at the edge, which could easily be covered by a prong. Because of the provenance, enhancements and inclusions, I am asking $450 per carat, or $2340 for the pair.
Because I am a private seller, sales are final unless you and I agree to a short inspection period. I will include shipping and insurance using USPS. Since LT email is inconsistent, please email me at lmstlr@aol.com with inquiries. I am springerspaniel on PS.
