I have a platinum solitaire setting from Brian Gavin in a size 4.5. It held a diamond around 6mm with claw prongs. All prongs are intact. The solitaire measures 2.0mm at the top and 1.6mm at the bottom. The width is 1.8mm at the top and 1.7mm at the bottom. The platinum is in great condition. This is sizable and the head can be removed and a different size put on, by Brian Gavin or a different jeweler.
