This is absolutely one of the best Chrysoberyls I’ve offered for sale. I don’t use the words vivid & neon lightly, or too often for gemstones other than Opals. This stone fits the criteria, wih a GIA satration of 6 (vivid) & a light tone. It is even bright in hardly no light at all. Observe the direct sunlight picture. Most stones close up in direct sunlight. This stone basks in it, even though the picture does not do the Chrysoberyl justice. But as nice as it is in sunlight, where this stone shines is in indoor lighting, especially LED & fluorescent, where it looks like it came out of a nuclear reactor. Look at those pictures, outstanding. Its color is right where yellow meets green, & depending on the light, will look a hair more yellow or green, but most the time, a vivid Chartreuse.

The Portuguese cut gives this stone sparkle & dispersion to spare, along with its great color. Almost no extinction to speak of in this stone. Will fit in a 11 mm x 9 mm mount. Nice face up size, this stone begs for a ring. A bold ring that people will notice. A gem!
