This is an amazing antique diamond that I had an appraiser from the New England Gem Lab look at and she dated the diamond to the late 1800's. Old mine cuts are unique in shape and have frosted girdles. This one has a wonderful high puffy crown, it was graded as a J SI1 and weighs just over 1/3 carat at 35 points.
The setting dates to around the 40's and has really pretty split prongs that come up to the diamond with almost a flower or clover shape in each of the four corners. In addition there is a lovely fluted detail on the band on each side. Also ideal to stack bands with, would make a great first diamond ring.
Sales in the U.S. only, PayPal only, private seller so no returns. Listing is only for the ring described and not for any other rings shown.
