Description

This is a stunning Victorian 14Kt rose gold brooch/pendant that has a center pink sapphire (I had a gemologist at the New England Gem Lab verify that there are natural inclusions in the sapphire) and eight old mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are H color and SI1-2 clarity, they face up very white and are very lively. Diamonds are 5 points each so about 40 points total on the diamonds. The sapphire is a light pinkish purple measures 4.7mm x 2.49mm. The piece weighs 6 grams and is 1.50 inches tall by 1.50 inches wide. Can be worn as a brooch or there is a top piece that flips up to allow it to be worn as a necklace.

Overall the brooch is in excellent condition, there are some flea bites to a couple of the diamonds only noticeable with magnification.
