Up for sale is a beautiful, vintage emerald cut diamond solitaire engagement ring set in platinum. The emerald cut diamond in the center weighs 1.06cts and measures approximately 7.43mm x 4.91mm x 3.13mm. It is approximately G in color and SI2 in clarity. The emerald cut diamond has two clear inclusions that are fairly easily visible in the diamond -- this is fairly common in step cuts. They are not as easily noticeable when worn on the hand especially compared to the macro pictures shown here but they are visible none the less. The platinum cathedral setting is very solid and the inside of the band is rounded for a comfortable fit. It is currently approximately a tight size 7 and could be re-sized within reason by your local jeweler. The inside of the band stamped "BBB" & "PLAT" . It weighs approximately 5.20 grams. This ring works perfectly stacked with other bands because of the cathedral mounting. The setting is slightly off center -- this is not visible from the top view but noticeable from the side view (please see pictures). I'm also selling a baguette diamond 3 stone semi mount that used to have this diamond set in the center of it. This is an elegant diamond solitaire with great presence on the hand and looks closer to 1.50 carats because of the spread. Appraisal document shown in pictures will be included with this purchase.
