This is a sweet little piece of history. I purchased it on Etsy awhile back from a seller that specializes in this type of jewelry. It can be hard to find this slightly larger size in these types of band, and most of the ones I see are in white metals (WG or plat). This one is a rich buttery 18k yg, with what I believe is called the blossom style pattern. It is a size 9.5 and I would not recommend sizing, as it might disrupt the pattern or the inner engraving, which appears to read: From MDB to AFW Sept 10 21
You can see that it originally was mil-grained as well, but it was clearly lovingly worn bc the milgrain is difficult to spot (one side is almost entirely worn away). That is the charm of this ring, and it has a beautiful engraving/inscription as well, which is still easily readable. Very good vibes!
The ring weights 3.7 grams which is actually rather a lot for these types of rings, many are flimsier; this one is thinner but feels very nice and solid. It also stacks well with anything and is very comfortable on the hand. I’ve included some pics of it stacked next to other rings, but this listing is only for the wedding band. The seller listed it as being 3 mm wide but IMO it’s probably more like 2.75, it seems a tiny bit thinner than 3 mm. At any rate, it’s not a “thick” 3 mm. Just mentioning it, as I mention everything I can think of ;). Also please note that the “better pics” are the ones taken by the seller, so credit to her.
The Etsy seller included a certificate on the piece that I’ll send along as well; you can view it in the pics here and see all the extra details in it.
Was asking $159. Now $115 shipped!! Shipping via USPS first class mail included. This price is just barely above the actual current gold weight value, according to when I checked it as of today (9/2), I’m asking for a bit more to cover the insured USPS shipping.
I ship within the US only (due to insurance issues with int'l shipping). PayPal only please; personal/family/friends PayPal is always appreciated (but never required :) I'm katharath on PS, and although I haven’t been really active over there in a while, I've had many successful transactions here, selling from my personal collection.
Still have questions? Just ask!
