Click on video. Note - The camera eye does not pick up all the colors, like the human eye. Reds look pink, blue, violet, & purple are hard for the camera to pick up. Opals of this quality are always better & more vivid in person.
Welo Opal just really don’t get much better than this jewel. There are vivid colors everywhere, & I do mean everywhere, in large chunks of broad flash. Move the Opal this way & that, & watch the kaleidoscope of vivid neon red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, purple, in high 3-D. Mesmerizing.
There are no dead spots. No cracks. Semi-transparent crystal Great cutting proportions. Pleasing shape. There is a tiny divot on the back of the Opal. It is about a 1/4 of a mm deep, at the deepest. It in now way poses a threat to the stones stability. Since it is on the back, it does not affect the face up beauty. Even so, I priced this stone $20.00 a carat less than I would normally. You can see the divot on the picture of the back of the stone.
