Just got this from a LT/PSer, but then made a big purchase (whoops!) Here's her description, which I found extremely accurate. The stone is gorgeous! I'm including her pictures, which are also very true to what I see in real life. They include 1 pic of the stone set, but note it is being sold loose.

"2.77 ct - 8.6 x 5.9mm cuprian tourmaline

This stone was sold to me as copper bearing but I don't have paperwork on it, so I'm selling it at a bargain. It was previously set for a short period of time, but the jeweler misunderstood my instructions and I didn't like how it turned out, so I just had it removed and never had it re-set. Some of the photos shows the stone when it was set.

As is typical with this type of stone, it has inclusions, but it also glows. I've included some highly magnified photos also. The stone is native cut and from Mozambique according to the seller. I've had this stone a long time."

Asking what I paid, which is $200.
