Video taken in natural shaded sunlight on a cloudy day. Picture taken in natural shaded sunlight. Please excuse the small dust, lint, & smudges on solo picture, as blown up stones of this color show everything in sunlight, plus my cloth needs washing. Finger picture taken under fluorescent light. If you didn't know that this was a Spinel, you would probably guess it as a Indicolite Tourmaline. Rare color for Spinel, & a pretty one too. The stone is medium dark in tone, but not too dark. It sits squarely in between medium & dark tone. It does shift to a more blue under fluorescent light.
A great little stone for the collector of the rare.
