This emerald is a showstopper. A mouth gaper (is that a word?). In short, it is everything you want in an emerald: gorgeous luster and brilliance, transparency, strong saturations, and that to die for bluish green that Colombian emeralds are famous for. This one was mined in Muzo and treated only lightly with cedar oil. It positively glows. You will NOT be disappointed by this superb emerald. Such a perfect size, too.

Pictures taken in different lighting conditions -- sunlight, shaded light, incandescent. The accent stones are 2.5mm red spinel from Yvonne Raley. A great complement to the stone!
