This stone is a absolute gem! Even among Namibia Demantiods, this stone is a rainbow of dispersion, above & beyond. It takes an exceptional stone for the camera to pick up any amount of dispersion. As you can see with the video & picture, we have a real hammy gem here! It just smiles at the camera!

Demantoid Garnet has the highest dispersion of any gemstone. Which is to say, it breaks up the color spectrum of light stronger than Diamond & reflects different sparkling colors to the eye. It has the highest refractive indice of any Garnet, almost Diamond like, hence the name Demantoid = Diamond like.
