For sale is a feisty 4.80ct top Welo opal.
I picked this up, from Jim McCormick, a while back.

This is the kind of opal that just can sit in one spot & there is color everywhere, & I do mean everywhere! The opal looks like a mini universe filled with nebula's & galaxies. Reds, oranges, greens, yellows, & blues float in the semi-transparent innerspace of this opal in vivid 3- D colors. Bright in low light. Nice high cab. Good face up size. Perfect for a ring! This stone is a gem!

I would love to keep this but I've decided to sell it, since it deserves better than to sit in my jewelry box.

Both pictures were taken indoors. I think the first one better represents the color but I wanted one to show some of that orange fire (hence the second pic).
