This Chrysoberyl is almost a bi-color. It's very chartreuse in the middle with more golden yellow on the ends.
It was precision cut in the US in a fantastic brilliant oval. The cutting is the star here, with plenty of sparkle from chunky oval cutting.
This stone is a bit of a bear to photograph. It looks 10% nicer and more saturated than my photos suggest.

It pains me to list this. The color on this thing is such a pure cherry red. It's not brick red, or orange red, it's red red. It flashes this incredible spectral red very well in direct sunlight. It will show a deep red body color in diffuse light. Thanks to the precision cutting, it will even show pure red sparkles around the edges in low indoor light.
It was precision cut in the US in a fantastic modified Jeff Graham design with a lower crown to get better light return.
I really hate to sell it, but it's just too dark for me. It gets plenty of red flash in intense light, but never lights up evenly all at once. In most lighting the pure red flash cascades down the stone--it's a very dark stone. In lower lighting it blacks out, except for some red sparkle. If you love dark and pure red, this one is for you.
Stone: Spinel
Weight: 1.86 ct.
Dimensions: 8.7x6.3mm
Cut: Jeff Graham oval design
Origin: South East Asia
Clarity: VVS2/S1? It's borderline eye clean. There are a couple of inclusion near the corner of the table that you can see on close inspection. They're harder to spot from arm's length, but you can find them if you're looking for them. I don't think they detract much.

This stone has an amazing, unique green color. It's a saturated, slightly yellowish green in daylight--think of a more saturated apple-green.
It will shift a bit. In diffuse, intense daylight, or some fluorescent light, you'll see a little neon green. It's not neon normally, but you sometimes see some neon in certain lighting conditions. In LED or Incandescent, it shifts to more of a golden yellow.
I had planned to recut this stone since it has a window. The pavilion is centered, and the depth should be sufficient for a pavilion recut at 64%, and you'd probably end up with a 2.2-2.3 carat stone.
If you wanted to get really crazy, you could probably cut it to a 7.4 mm round, though it would end up a 1.5 carat stone.
It has a nicely cut crown and lots of sparkle. So it works as is, but I'll recut it if it doesn't sell. If you want to purchase it contingent upon the assessment of a cutter, we can work that out. I can also recommend inexpensive recutters.

I recommend viewing the pictures on your mobile device for accurate color. All my photos underplay the green a bit.
Dan Stair recut this from a much larger stone. The result was that he kept much of the size. At an average LxW of 8.5 mm it faces like a 3 ct stone and will be quite the statement piece.
The cutting is awesome. The crown is flatter than ideal, but Dan managed to eek plenty of dispersion from the radiant cut. It has a real art deco look to it and would be captivating in an art deco or vintage style ring.
The color is also fabulous. I think of it as lemon-lime--sometimes lemon, sometimes lime, and often both. But it also contains something even more magical. In fluorescent, LED light, or even some weird low daylight, it goes full on nuclear neon.
This is a great stone for someone who wants to wear it in office or strong daylight. While still nice in cloudy or incandescent light, it really shows off in fluorescent, LED, and strong daylight. I don't have a great picture of it's neon side, but I'll do my best to get one upon request. Photos are all taken in natural daylight.

This stone has a barion cut which makes it light up all over in any light. Has to be seen to be appreciated. It looks like it's switched on. Video upon request.
