This is a beautiful ring I hate to part with but hope someone loves it as I did. Center stone is 2.04 ct, H color, brilliant and sparkling faces up bright and white with beautiful flashes of color. It's set in a platinum halo setting made less than one year ago, styled after Victor Canera's gorgeous Emilya design ( this is not VC, but quite similar and just lovely.) It looks gorgeous on the finger, very dainty band and big pop of the diamond. With the delicate halo ( tilted at a 25 degree angle to feature, rather than overwhelm the stone) it looks over 3 ct and the total weight with halo diamonds is about 3ct. Stats: Round Brilliant cut 8.15mm x 8.08mmx4.93mm table-5.3 =65% depth-61% clarity I-1 color- H Setting Stats: Custom platinum setting, weight 7.3 grams Plat. 18 round brilliant diamonds on band,SI1 G color =.51ct 60 round brilliant diamonds on stems and gallery .56 ct Setting Ct weight 1.07 Total Ct weight= 3.11 The setting is platinum, with flush fit stems ( so a band can sit flush against the ring) and the diamonds are excellent quality and in a u-cut setting, so the stones round shape are allowed to be seen easily. The band is a 1.8mm and its currently a size 6 and can be resized. The prongs are small and delicate so they don't take away from the center stone- I oversaw all of these aspects of making the setting so that it was flawless in every way, the workmanship is fabulous. The setting alone was just over $3500 and I still have that bill of sale, as well as an appraisal for the same diamond in a former plain band setting, appraisal w/out new setting was over $15,000.
