These are a lovely pair of cushiony Old European cuts. Very well cut, very white, and in excellent condition. The optics on these diamonds are ideal for OECs, just what you look for. Bold, chunky patterning, firey, small tables and tall crowns.
Diamond A: Weighs 0.76ct and is a very lovely soft cushion shape, almost oval. It is 5.9mm x 5.7mm per my digital calipers. It was appraised by my local appraiser as H/I color and VS1 clarity. There is a microscopic area of roughness on the girdle that I would not be concerned with, but a polish would be a simple process if desired.
Diamond B: Weighs 0.78ct and is also a soft cushion shape. It is 5.9mm x 5.7mm per my digital calipers. It was appraised by my local appraiser as I/J color and VS1 clarity. There is a spot on the edge that is slightly flattened. It is very hard to detect with the naked eye and does not detract from the diamond’s beauty.
I am asking $2490 plus shipping for the pair, and shipping will be FedEx overnight delivery.
Diamonds are also available individually, though preference goes to someone interested in buying the pair.
Sale is final, be sure to ask all questions before you buy! I have bought and sold a number of items on the Bistro. References available to serious buyers upon request. I am Dreamer_D on Pricescope.

I cannot wear this ring with my new platinum filigree solitaire, so I am now a motivated seller of my Dream Band from Brian Gavin Diamonds.
Here is the link to the ring on BGD’s site: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/wedding-and-anniversary-bands/eternity-bands/dream-half-eternity-18k-white-gold-5392w18
The ring is 18k white gold. Half eternity, 0.55cttw, eleven BGD signature melee stones, five points each. The diamonds are H/I color and SI clarity, white, bright, and eye clean. The ring is 2.3mm wide on the top and rises about 2.1mm off the finger. It is a low set and extremely beautiful ring, one of BGD’s best-selling styles!
Size 6.25 and sizable within reason by BGD (e.g., I know sizes 4 to 9 is possible). Ring is in excellent condition, a simple polish and rhodium dip and it will be like new.
Retails for around $1600+ with this color/clarity diamonds. I am asking $925 USD, including insured express shipping. I will consider reasonable offers.

Also for sale is this lovely and delicate platinum knife edge wedding band. I bought it on DB about six months ago to wear with another ring I no longer own, so I would like to sell it to someone who will wear it! It also does not fit me :halo: I never did get around to resizing it!
Originally from Excel Diamonds, it is about 2mm wide and stands about 1.8mm tall, though it seems much more delicate because of the knife edge. Presently a size 6.25 and easily sizable. Retail price for the ring is $610.
I am asking $195 including shipping.

Price Reduction! Was $6995, NOW $5950 and I will consider offers!
For sale is a 1.36ct Old European Cut diamond, with a EGL-LA lab report grading it as an I color and VS1 clarity. It measures 6.98 x 6.89 x 4.46mm. My own independent appraiser also graded the diamond as an I VS1. Note: The pictures were taken before a thorough cleaning, and spots are dirt. It is a true, pristine VS1 clarity.
I bought this amazing, classic OEC diamond last May and planned to set it in a three stone ring (that is why some pictures show the stone paired with side stones!). But soon after buying this stone I stumbled on my dream, needle in a haystack, transitional old cut solitaire. I would really really love to keep this diamond for myself, because it is such a rare color and clarity for and old cut. It is also a gorgeous example of a mid-period European cut. It has very nice optical symmetry, it is nearly perfectly round, has a high crown, and beautiful chunky facets. However, I cannot justify keeping this diamond and my solitaire right now.
The retail value of this diamond is $8250. I am asking $5950 and will consider offers as well. I will not be offended by any offer, so if you are interested, contact me!
I have consigned the diamond with Jewels by Erica Grace, so buyers can be assured they are buying from a trusted vendor who offers a three day unconditional return period. I am happy to answer your questions about the diamond, or you can contact Grace at info@jewelsbyericagrace.com, or through her website: http://www.jewelsbyericagrace.com/

Note: Solitaire and side stones not for sale :-)

I am selling my gorgeous OEC five-stone ring to fund another project. I purchased this ring in 2014 and had it refurbished by my local jeweler. Since then it has been rarely worn, and I have not worn at all in the last 2.5 years.
The ring holds an absolutely beautiful suite of matched old cut diamonds. Each diamond is very round with lovely optical symmetry. Each stone is 4.1 – 4.2mm in diameter and my appraiser estimated the weight at 1.05cttw. The diamonds are also exceptionally white for old cuts – my local appraiser estimated E-F color and VVS-VS clarity (though obviously, I cannot make any guarantees about color without a lab report). I don’t think I need to tell you how rare it is to find such a beautiful, well-matched suite of old cuts. In fact, I spent three years searching ebay daily before I found this ring.
The setting is yellow gold and in a vintage style that has recently become quite popular. It is a size 8 and can be resized within reason.

Antique. Hand forged and fabricated. Platinum. One of a kind.
The bezel is whisper thin, perhaps 0.5mm. The shank is about 2mm wide and just 1.1mm thick. Yet because of the fabrication methods that were used, the ring is sturdy.
The setting is in exceptional condition for a 100 year old antique. There is one small area of the basket that has been very slightly indented (see the last picture, which is angled to show the indent at its absolute worst). It is only apparent if you know what to look for IRL.
Can fit a round gemstone between 7.7 and 8.10mm. With some additional work to adjust the seat, it could fit a slightly smaller stone (but no smaller than 7.5mm).
Currently a size 7.5 and can be resized safely between a 5.5 and 10. Can go smaller (~4-4.5) if the work is done by an expert in refurbishing antique settings.
I am asking $1395 (USD) OBO. Buyer pays FedEx shipping. I will consider all offers (Really! Don't be afraid to offer, I won't be offended).
Diamond not included.
