This an almost but not quite colorless spinel with a pretty silvery-purple hue. My friend purchased it thinking she might use it in her engagement ring, but went another direction. It has a nice round cut with a lot of sparkle, I almost want to call it Portuguese cut. PayPal preferred, all sales final.

This is a custom made drop/bar pendant containing .27ctw of 2.25mm round brilliant cut benitoite gemstones. The stones are graduated in color from nearly white to deep blue. They were purchased at the International Gem Show in Santa Monica in 2008 and set by the seller in 14k yellow gold. The setting is rustic looking, but protective of the stones. Nice lighter color and sparkle on this little pear. One large feather/inclusion at or near the surface of the tip, but it could easily be hidden with a prong or bezel setting.

This is a petite and well-made white gold Tiffany-inspired necklace with a 4mm blue sapphire set in a yellow gold bezel, surrounded by a cluster halo of 3 rows of bead set diamonds. The diamonds appear to be round brilliant cut, and I think there are about 40 of them, creating a lot of sparkle for the size. The total width of the pendant is 10mm. The sapphire and diamonds are eye clean. The pendant slides on a 16 inch chain, and the clasp is marked 14k. The chain can't be removed, as it runs through holes on the sides of the pendant, but it can be lengthened with an extender. I purchased this from a well-known PS-er a few years ago. This is a sapphire I purchased as a 1.57ct, 6.5mm unheated stone about 10 years ago. It had a big window, so I had it recut to 6mm. I don't know the exact weight, but it is very similar in cut and size to a 1ct sapphire that I own. It has much more sparkle and life after the recut. The photos do appear somewhat darker and more saturated than it really is, but the color is a very pleasant medium blue with violet tints. It is set in a 14k white gold Stuller mount, but could easily be removed. The first three pictures are under incandescent light, while the last two are in indirect sunlight.

I purchased these from Barry Bridgestock (Artistic Colored Stones) about 5 years ago and still haven't had a chance to set them so I want to let them go to a good home. The two ovals have primarily blue adularescence and are well matched for earrings. The 8mm round is more pink. PayPal preferred, all sales final.

Awesome little vintage emerald ring with old cut diamond melee. Art deco style with milgrain details. Emerald is approx. 4.6 mm round, 0.25 ct., surrounded with 18 small round brilliant diamonds, approx. 0.2ctw. Has typical inclusions for an emerald, but a very pretty color. Prongs have been repaired to make the stone secure. The ring was resized from 7 to 8.25 by a jeweler specializing in antique jewelry. Romantic engraving inside: "C.H.R. to L.V.L. 10/28/24" Marked "PLAT" Weighs 3.2 grams. The top of the ring is 7.2mm x 16mm and it sits about 4.5mm above the finger.
