The sapphire was precision-cut in the U.S. and set by lapidary and bench jeweler Phil Lagas-Rivera (AlternativesLapidary). The lab sapphire is flawless and cut in an elongated antique cushion design. It weighs 2.67 carats and has the dimensions 8.3 x 6.8 x 5.4mm. A nice size for a solitaire that packs a punch! The rough sapphire was made by Djeva in Switzerland and this color does not go dark. The ring is made of solid Palladium and is stamped "950Pd" on the inside. Palladium is a platinum group metal and will stay white without plating. It looks just like Platinum but feels lighter. The setting style is an integrated peg head solitaire to keep it lower and more comfortable on the finger, so this ring will not sit flush with a straight band (there will be a small gap). The prongs are split eagle-claws and are impeccably sleek and smooth. I am the original owner of this ring, it is gorgeous and in great condition, and it has never been resized. Beautiful two-tone 14kt white and yellow gold antique-inspired floral milgrain halo ring with a 6x9mm Hydrothermal lab emerald and 16 1.5mm colorless lab diamond melee. The emerald weighs 1.3cts and the melee add up to 0.25cts. The entire ring weighs 3.4 grams. The emerald is not flawless, it has some barely noticeable bubble inclusions and it is glowy like a natural emerald. It is secured by 4 traditional prongs and a v-prong at the tip. The ring size is a US 5.25. The band is 2mm wide by 1.5mm tall, and can easily be resized if needed. Starsgem made the ring for me in 2019 for $340 USD, back when gold was less expensive. Vintage 22kt solid gold wedding band with Birmingham hallmarks. This band is over 4 grams of almost pure gold, hard to find in a comfort fit in this size! This band is vintage but in great shape with a soft patina. The band is perfectly round, stacks well, and has the unmistakable color of a high karat gold. It could easily be resized without removing the inner hallmark, and could be brushed to a high polish or other finish if desired. US size 5.5, with H.A makers mark, the crown stamp signifying gold, 22 for karat purity, the anchor for Birmingham, and the "A" year mark stamp for 1950. On my scale the weight waffles between 4.1 and 4.2 grams, so I would assume 4.1 grams. It measures 3.2mm wide and 1.8mm tall. The antique Victorian ring box pictured is not included. This is a brand new, never set loose "pulled" lab Alexandrite made by the Czochralski method. It weighs 2.09 carats and measures 7mm on the sides. It was precision cut by the talented lapidary team Stag & Finch in the popular design "Void Reaver" by Arya Akhavan. The first photo is from the vendor Stag & Finch and full credit goes to them. 7mm is a great size for a ring or a pendant! It's a gorgeous stone that throws several colors, mainly purple and blue. The green is visible outside but is very hard to photograph. In direct sunlight the Alexandrite appears redder due to fluorescence.
