I'm selling some oldies but goodies. They've been great but now it's time for someone else to enjoy them. These are my favorites.Light pink spinel pears bought from Tan at Gemcatalogue, one carat + both of them, oval spinels, slightly more saturated and then round moonstones and square emeralds, kite set from Sally at Heart of Water Jewels. These earrings are made with silver and rose gold. The links and hooks are silver, the bezels around the gems are rose gold. (Edited to add: These earrings are not a perfect match, but when you wear them almost nobody sees the difference.) I love these earrings. If you've always loved dangly earrings and wanted some with real gems, these are perfect. Light dances in them. I'm selling these because of a sudden need for funds, due to unexpected circumstances. I'm mariedtiger on PS and there is a thread on these there. Please ask questions, this is a final sale. All items are sent from Finland with registered mail, signature required. Shipping is 10$ and free with another of my things.

I'm selling some oldies but goodies. They've been great but now it's time for someone else to enjoy them. This is a silver ring, size 6.25, with yellow gold prongs, made by Heart of Water Jewels. It holds a Loliondo spessartite, 1ct+, cut by Gemrite. The stone has a wide variety of faces, that you can see in the photos. It ranges from ochre in direct sunlight to a glowy neon yellow-orange in the shade. I haven't seen this glow in any other spessartite. The cut is excellent, it has typical Loliondo inclusions. When I bought it I saw a tiny black speck with a loupe that I thought was an inclusion, now I don't see it anymore. Priced low, because of the moodiness of the stone. This is a fun piece. I bought three spinel briolettes, amazingly matched in color, from Tan at Gemcatalogue/Odysseygem. The one in the lariat is a bit bigger than the ones in the earrings. I had them set by Kameron at http://www.etsy.com/people/littlesilvermemories, there are tiny kite set emeralds in the earrings. The craftmanship of this piece is basic, and is reflected in the price. The chain of the lariat is 28-29 inches long. I'm mariedtiger on PS. Please ask questions, this is a final sale. All items are sent from Finland with registered mail, signature required. I'm selling some oldies but goodies. They've been great but now it's time for someone else to enjoy them. This is a sturdy silver ring in a size 8 from Heart of Water Jewels, with hefty rosegold prongs, that have been recently checked and tightened. The jeweler polished it, so it isn't as blackened anymore as in Sally's pictures. The spessartite, approximately 8x8mm, is bought from Tan, who said it has no trace of brown. My eyes see brown in low light and I priced accordingly. That said, this is as pure and bright an orange that I have yet seen in spessartites, no yellow, and a fine starter stone. The cut is good. This is a fun ring, a starter emerald for someone who wants a bright green gem affordably. I bought it from http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtesanJewelry The seller's words: "Size 6 sterling silver and natural electric green emrerald ring. This stone is from the Muzo Mine in Columbia. Split sterling silver band and a 7 x 5mm (1.10 ct)emerald cut classic green natural emerald. This stone needs no oil to hide the natural fissures that most emeralds exhibit. It has a few TINY black spots only visible under magnification and a tiny fissure in the bottom of the stone. Fairly clear stone with a nice flash and reflection. The stone has a really nice overall glow. Band is highly polished." The stone is really glowy but this just stays in my jewelry box, so it's time to let it go. I'm mariedtiger on PS. This a silver ring in a size 8,5, set by GarnetGirl on Etsy. The star sapphire is from Cresla, it's tiny but has a good star that is not centered. I bought it as unheated, but have no information about possible treatments. It is priced accordingly. For me, this was a starter star sapphire and as lovely as they all are. The base color is purple with a hint of pink. The ring stacks well with both bands and stacking rings. I'm mariedtiger on PS. Please ask questions, this is a final sale. This is a ring set from McFarlandDesigns on Etsy in a size 8.25. A fun set that brightens up any outfit and is comfortable to wear. The craftmanship is good and this design is not offered in the store anymore. Materials: sterling silver, opal, tourmaline (included), chrysocolla, fine silver. The opal matches the portuguese cut spessartite I have for sale here: http://loupetroop.com/account/listings/1782 if you're into mixing and matching colors. :) The sizes are different, so you can't wear them at once, but on different fingers. Here's a stacking ring from GarnetGirl, size 8.25, with one of Barry's "Siberian" amethyst in a cushion cut. The bezel is in rosegold and there is a flaw in one corner. Priced accordingly. The amethyst is fabulous. In many lights it is dark, probably also due to the enclosed bezelsetting (no opening at all) but when light hits it, there are both blue and red flashes.
