For your consideration is a stunning natural solid white opal from my mother’s private collection, purchased in 1982 in Honolulu, Hawaii. This stone has been verified by Graduate Gemologist Paul Cassarino (The Gem Lab, Rochester, NY). Included is a photo of the original ring. The Opal "swelled" and fell out of it's original custom framing in 2008.
This is a high-quality collector's stone with a very desirable color profile. While the body tone is a clean N8 white, the play-of-color is dominated by rare Red and Orange pinfire and broad flashes that are visible from multiple angles, including the profile.
