Pretty vintage blue sapphire cross pendant. A total of 12 square step cut, natural blue Sapphires are set into 9 carat solid yellow gold and each point of the cross is embellished with a small Diamond in point work for highlight. The Sapphires take on a different hue with varying light conditions, ranging from very dark, to bright blue. The bale is stamped for 9 carat gold and the pendant. The blue spinel in this ring is striking. I bought this from a UK vendor on Etsy. The Etsy merchant did not know if this was a natural or created blue spinel and could not identify the white stones...so I have priced it accordingly. This stone gives off rich blue sparks even when inside. It doesn't seem to extinguish as much as a sapphire would once indoors. Size 7.25. Very pretty vintage unheated aquamarine ring. My jeweler believes that the Aquamarine is unheated and that the green was not “cooked out of it” leaving this pretty sea foam green color. The stone looks a wee bit hazy in these photos but that's not the case. Its nice and clear. It’s killing me to sell it but the pandemic has created havoc for so many of us. The company had a money back/no questions asked return policy. When I got the ring, two of the stones were not SI1. I returned the ring and had the two stones replaced. I do not have an appraisal, but my jeweler says the ring is as described. This ring has a lot of sparkle for the money. Obviously, this is not going to be one of our higher end PS favorite designers.
