This setting used to hold an 8x6 diamond. There are round melee on the shank as well as one baguette on each side.

This was a platinum bezel setting. Given that platinum is so hard, the center stone was removed with my request to be gentle so the jeweler did her best. I am told that it's still possible to set another stone into it once some additional metal has been soldered back on.

Shank has engraving down the sides but not all the way around so slight sizing is possible.

Thanks for looking. I kept this setting for awhile hoping to reset a sapphire or ruby into it, but I have another big project in mind and hubby will not approve until I let some things go...
